Pastor Musa Bako came into full time Ministry in 1990 as a missionary. He came into full time pastoral ministry in the RCCG in 1993 after working as a missionary for three years. He was ordained a full pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1998. He is the pastor in charge of RCCG Victory Assembly Sheffield, a parish of the Redeemed Church of God which he pioneered together with his wife upon their relocation to the UK in February 2000. Victory Assembly is a growing multicultural church that is impacting the city of Sheffield with the good news about Jesus, and has established several other churches within Sheffield and in other cities, and in Germany. Pastor Musa is an assistant regional pastor in the RCCG.

Pastor Musa Bako is a prolific writer, and as an author, he has published several books among which are ‘I am who God says I am’, ‘everybody needs somebody’, ‘overcoming discouragement’, Overcoming Rejection’, a ministry handbook ‘Lord I’m Available you can use me’, and ‘Pushing back the invasion from the Kingdom of darkness’.

He is also an executive coach and mentor, and has a Masters degree in coaching and Mentoring from Hallam University Sheffield. Prior to his work as a missionary Pastor Musa studied and obtained a diploma in cross cultural missions in 1992 from Agape school of missions Jos Nigeria. He has a CPSR level 3 certificate in counselling, Diploma in Public and Private Law, Katsina Polytechnic, Nigeria, Masters in theology from Crossroads Trinity Bible college and theology, Manchester, UK, and an Advance Diploma in Ministry from Christ Redeemers College London  UK. He was awarded an honorary doctor of theology degree from Crossroads Theological Seminary of Tallahassee Florida, USA.

Pastors Musa has a deep sense of calling and his ministry thrust is to give men and women the resources and tools they need to succeed in life and fulfil the reason for which they were created. He is married to Pastor Eunice Meque Bako and together they  are blessed with three children.
